ASTA-USA Translation Services, Inc. Code of Conduct & Accountability Purpose

This code sets clear expectations for ethical behavior, professional integrity, and accountability. It complements our Standards of Excellence by outlining the essential rules that protect our clients, colleagues, and ASTA-USA’s reputation.

  1. Commitment to Privacy, Security & Confidentiality
  • All employees, administrators, trustees, and representatives must strictly follow ASTA-USA’s Privacy, Security, and Confidentiality Policies.
  • Unauthorized disclosure, mishandling, or misuse of client or company information is strictly forbidden.
  • Violations will result in immediate removal and may be reported to law enforcement.
  1. Compliance with Law
  • All employees and representatives must fully comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Fraud, embezzlement, misappropriation of funds, or other illegal acts are grounds for immediate termination and prosecution.
  1. Ethical Financial Practices
  • Honest, accurate, and transparent financial practices are required at all times.
  • No falsification of records, data misrepresentation, or position abuse will be tolerated.
  1. Workplace Conduct
  • Discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or abuse of authority are prohibited.
  • All employees are expected to treat colleagues, clients, and vendors with respect, professionalism, and fairness.
  1. Conflicts of Interest
  • Employees and representatives must avoid situations where personal interests conflict with the interests of ASTA-USA or its Clients.
  • Any potential conflict must be disclosed immediately to management.
  1. Misconduct and Removal
  • Any officer, trustee, employee, or representative who violates this Code shall face immediate removal from their position and, if applicable, be referred to legal authorities for prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.

Acknowledgment

All officers, administrators, employees, and trustees must review, sign, and adhere to this Code as a condition of their role with ASTA-USA.
